we will be in wdw from nov 1 through nov 9. i have a 9 year old daughter, who is a brownie and a 14 year old boy, who is a boy scout. does anyone know if you can work on any of the badges for either girl or boy scouts while we are in disney? thanks

    Hi there Melissa!

That is so great that both your son and daughter are into scouting! Did you know that Bernie, one of our Disney Parks Moms Panelists is a scout leader? As far as individual badges go I am thinking it is up to the dens to decide if a particular badge can be awarded during your trip. I would ask them to see what the kids could do to qualify for their own particular badge. My own personal thought is that your kids are going to have an awesome time at Disney's Animal Kingdom if they participate in the Wilderness Explorers program! We were able to become Wilderness Explorers this past summer and had a wonderful time walking around the park getting our badges!

I hope you and your family have a fantastic trip and if you have additional questions, we ar always here to help!
