We will be going to WDW on Nov 8 for the very merry christmas party. My question is how decorated for the holidays will the parks and resorts be by then? Will the Grand Floridian also have some Christmas things out or are we too early? Thanks

    Hi Tara!

The month of November is one of my family's favorite times to visit Walt Disney World Resort.  The weather is mild, the crowds are low, and the holiday decorations are amazing!

On November 8, the resorts will be in the midst of decorating.  They don't publish a particular calendar, but we have been there numerous times during that week, and there is always a lot going on then.  New decorations are added at night, and it's always fun to walk into the lobby in the morning to see what's new!

I can't promise you that the resorts will be fully, or even close to fully decorated, but you will be able to see some amazing things going on at them.  The transformation of the Disney World resorts will generally be completed by the day after Thanksgiving.

I hope this helps!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
