Hello! We will be at WDW from Nov 29- Dec 13 2014 and I was wondering when Mickey's Backyard BBQ will end in December usually? Also, would the BBQ or the hoop de doo revue be better for a 4 and 7 year old? Thank you!

    Hi Monique,

Thanks for your question. It sounds as if you are looking for a hoot-hollerin' good time during your magical vacation later this year.

My family actually attended Mickey's Backyard BBQ this past summer and had an absolute blast. My 7 year old daughter had a ball and later said it was one of her favorite things we did. I want to say that I remember this dinner and entertainment lasted for about an hour and a half. It began at 6:30pm and ended around 8pm. Keep in mind that start times could vary or change for different times of the year, but the length of the meal should remain the same.

While I absolutely love the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, for your kids' ages, I think the BBQ would be more entertaining. Mickey and his pals join in the dance party in their best western gear and it is a fun way to interact with the characters. Keep in mind that the characters at the BBQ will NOT do autographs during this dinner show. The food is delicious and full of kid favorites, too.

    Have a wonderful time!
