Bonjour, Desiree! I love that you’re trying to give your boyfriend a magical first visit experience! My family and I just returned from our vacation! We absolutely love Be Our Guest Restaurant! We were fortunate to score reservations for the first day of our vacation! I’m happy to share my reservation strategy with you!
Reservations can be made 60-days in advance of your vacation arrival date! On your 60-day mark, be on your
My Disney Experience app at 5:45 AM EST. While many restaurants won’t begin taking advanced reservations until 6:00 AM, a few will take them a little earlier. Once you’re on the app, enter a search for
Be Our Guest Restaurant. When the page appears for the restaurant, tap the tile that states, “Reserve Dining.” You’ll then be prompted to enter the number of Guests, reservation date, and dining period (i.e. lunch, dinner). Any times that are available will appear. You can then proceed with scheduling your reservation.
If dining at Be Our Guest is a high priority, try not to be picky about the dining time. The lunch and dinner menus at this restaurant are identical! If you can get a reservation at 4:00 for dinner, take it, even if that’s a little early for dinner.
Desiree, if for some reason you don’t get a reservation at the time when reservations open, don’t give up! I have often found that reservations become available at random times. Keep checking back, even up to the day of your visit to Magic Kingdom Park. You can even join the “walk-up list” which is also available on the My Disney Experience app.
Finally, Be Our Guest Restaurant requires a credit card number to hold your reservation. Be sure to have it loaded into your My Disney Experience account in advance of your 60th day or have it sitting next to you when it’s time to make your reservation!
Don’t forget to have your boyfriend try the grey stuff! Lumiere is right, “It’s delicious!”
