    Hi Alyssa!

You have to add the Disney Dining Plan before you check-in.  However, I can't tell you if it's a good thing for your trip or not.  It really depends on how you dine and what each member of your party might order off of a menu.  Some guests save a lot of money by being on a Disney Dining Plan, some save a little, and some actually spend more!

However, I do have a recommendation.  I suggest visiting the independent website AllEars.Net.  The team at All Ears does a great job keeping all of their information current.  They have the menus, with prices, for all of the Table Service and Quick Service restaurants at Walt Disney World.  You can look at the menus and do the math to figure out if being on a Disney Dining Plan is good for you or not!

Good luck with your decision and write back if you have any more questions!
