We are going to be at the WDW for 5 nights 12/25 to 12/30. Our kids first visit. Do I call ahead of time to ensure the seating that we want at the places we already have resesrvations?

    Hi Shiv!

As long as you already have an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) for the restaurants you want to dine at, there's nothing more to do until you show up for your reservation.  When you do, you can then discuss any special requests (such as the table location) with the Cast Member at the restaurant check-in area.  Calling ahead will only help if you are trying to seat a very large party requiring multiple tables to be put together or to be located close to each other.  You can make ADRs online or by calling (407) WDW-DINE.

By the way, since you said this will be your first visit, I highly recommend picking up the book "The Complete Walt Disney World" by Julie and Mike Neal.  Their book is perfect for first timers because it has just the right amount of information without being overwhelming.  Also, it's a beautiful book full of color photographs.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
