We're going to WDW next week and staying at a Disney resort. We'll get to Animal Kingdom before we check in to our resort. Can we park at the resort we're staying at before we actually check in to avoid paying for parking in the Disney parks?

    Hi Leslie,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Your trip is just around the corner! How exciting!

If I understand your question correctly, you're wanting to know if you can park at your Disney Resort Hotel on your arrival date, but before the official check-in time.

If that's the case, then the answer is yes! In fact, you can actually begin the check-in process whenever you arrive, even if your room is not yet ready.

What I do when we arrive early in the day is go straight to the Front Desk and check in with a Cast Member. I'll be able to confirm my credit card and set any charging privileges as well as get all set up for parking. And I can't promise this will happen, but there have even been times when our room was available early!

If your room is not yet ready, you are free to leave your bags with Bell Services and start that fun day at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park!

I hope this helps you plan a wonderful arrival day, Leslie. Wishing you magical memories next week!
