We will be going to WDW next month. Wanted to know where I can get an admission card upon arrival. I purchased our tickets at a military installation. I'm still debating on purchasing a magic band.

    Hi Veronica!

Great question! When we have purchased military tickets, these have been provided to us already on the admission cards, which feature the RFID chip. Upon arrival, we have been able to bypass the ticket windows and head straight for the entrance gates.  If your tickets do not have a chip or if you are unsure, stop by a ticket window at any one of the Theme Parks within Walt Disney World Resort or Guest Services at Disney Springs. A Cast Member will be happy to switch the tickets to the admission cards for you if needed.

Did you know?: The Walt Disney World Resort has some great offers for military personnel! My family and I took advantage of the awesome discount in January when we stayed at the Cabins in Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. I believe we saved close to 30% off of the regular rates! You can view these discounts by visiting this page: 2017 Military Discounts for Resorts. In order to request the discount, you have to make your reservation by calling (407) 939-5684.  Remember that staying at a Disney Resort comes with lots of great benefits including a complimentary MagicBand!

It has been a pleasure assisting you! If I can help you with any other planning question, please feel free to send them my way!
