Going to WDW in 2013 with myself, daughter, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren. What hotel would you recommend?

    Hi, Arleen!

I am going to give you a few options, and you can decide what will work best for your family.

My first option is a Family Suite at a Value Resort.  You can choose from All-Star Music or the new Art Of Animation.  These wonderful Family Suites have 2 rooms, one queen bed, and pull-out sofa beds with sleeping for 6 guests.  Each suite has a kitchenette and 2 full bathrooms.  This will give you plenty of room to spread out and I love that the suite has 2 full baths.   The kitchenette will allow you to have some snacks in the room and the 2 rooms will allow some privacy.

Another option is to book 2 standard rooms in a Moderate Resort.  Request connecting rooms.   This option will give you 2 beds per room, with each room having its own bathroom.  You will not get a kitchenette, but each room will have a mini-refrigerator for drinks.

The last option I am going to offer up is for all of you to stay in one room at a Deluxe Resort like the Contemporary.  Each room has 2 queen beds plus a day bed allowing for 5 guests.  You will have a larger room, but with just one room means one bathroom.

My choice would probably be to choose a Family Suite at the Art of Animation Resort.  It is just being completed now, so it is brand new.  I love the layout of the suites and not only will it give you room to spread out, your kids will love the great themes in each section of the resort.

Check out your resort options and see what appeals to you and your family.  If you need more help deciding, just let us know!
