We are going to be in WDW from 12/19 - 12/24. Going to MVMCP on 12/19 is an option. Will the Magic Kingdom have the Christmas parade and Holiday Wishes fireworks later in the week as part of the regular admission?

    Hi Marcia,

Christmas is a wonderful time of the year to visit the Magic Kingdom. Dec 19th is the last day for the 2010 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.  Beginning December 20th, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will be held at 3:00 p.m. each day at the Magic Kingdom for the rest of your stay.  The Holiday Wishes Fireworks will be performed each evening at 10:00 p.m. for the remainder of your trip.

There are some really good reasons to take advantage of MVMCP.  I love the festive atmosphere and its nice that the number of tickets are limited so its not as crowded as the other days and nights surrounding the holidays.  Oh, and did I mentioned the complimentary yummy cookies and cocoa?

You can check the parade & fireworks schedules for the Magic Kingdom on-line by clicking here.

Select December from the drop down list next to the View Month tab. That will take you to the December calendar which will list park hours and Extra Magic Hours. Click on a specific day for parade & fireworks schedules. Be sure you pick up a Times Guide as you enter the parks to confirm as schedules are always subject to change without notice.

Wishing you many magical holiday memories :-) Allison
