We have been to WDW mutliple times but never at the holidays. On New Year's Eve/New Years morning, post-fireworks, how difficult is it to get back to WDW resort hotels from Epot or MK? We are leaving for airport early the on 1/1.

    Hi Jennifer,

The holidays are an extra magical time of year to visit Walt Disney World.  The parks and resorts are decorated in a sea of colorful, whimsical decorations and lights that will bring a smile to just about anyone's face.  As you can imagine, the parks that have fireworks displays (Magic Kingdom, Epcot and Hollywood Studios) are very crowded on New Year's Eve with guests wanting to ring in the New Year, "Disney-style."  Disney transportation will continue to run well past the fireworks displays to ensure every guest makes it back to their Disney Resort.  The first few buses, monorails, etc. after the fireworks do tend to be crowded, but transportation runs frequently when crowds are large, so you won't have a problem getting back to your resort.  If you are hoping to make it to one of the first buses from the Magic Kingdom, I suggest viewing the fireworks closer to the entrance/exit of the park rather than at the Castle Hub.  This will make your exit quicker.

    Have a wonderful holiday trip!
