    I've been to WDW multiple times but always with PH. With base tickets only can you visit say Magic Kingdom in the morning and return that evening for the parade with no PH option on your ticket package?

    What you are describing is Disney's Magic Your Way One-Park-Per-Day ticket, better known as the No Option Base ticket. It is Disney's basic ticket and allows you to go in and out of one park as much as you like during the duration of the day. So, yes, you can go to the Magic Kingdom in the morning, leave, and then return to the park for the parade in the evening without having to purchase the other ticket options.

    (Our family of six rarely opts for the ParkHopper option because we typically use that money to splurge on a Character meal or Dinner Show during our vacation. We do one park a day, even if we leave at lunch to return in the evening.)
