I will be at WDW for Mothers Day 2012 with my husband, 2 boys (6 and 15months), my parents and brother. I want to have a special meal with my mum to celebrate. I don't really want a princess meal, but something we will remember. Suggestions?

Hi Leanne!  What a wonderful idea to plan ahead for you mum on her special day (and yours). Sometimes Disney has had a Mother's Day brunch somewhere on property but have not heard of this being offered yet this year.

Other great dining possibilities include my favorite, Citricos. It is children friendly but the atmosphere is less hectic then many other locations. It is in the Grand Floridian resort and the food is fantastic! If you are planning a day in the Magic Kingdom it is an easy monorail ride from that park.

Other thoughts include Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club resort, Flying Fish at the Boardwalk resort, California Grill at the Contemporary, Artist Point at the Wilderness Lodge and some park spots. Those include Brown Derby at Hollywood Studios, Teppan Edo in Japan at Epcot, and Chef de Paris in France at Epcot.

These choices that I offered give you a little more atmosphere and menu then some of the other locations. All are children friendly and have menus that they would enjoy as well.  Think about the taste of your mother and put your own vote in and then choose one and try to get reservations as soon as possible as this is a day that many locals will come and want to treat their special moms to a great Disney dining experience!
