    We are going to WDW in the middle of August, I checked park hours they seem to close early (9pm) not a lot of magic hours. Is that typical for then?  Do they ever change the hours/ add more magic hours?

    Hi, Danielle! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I can tell you that it is common practice for Disney Theme Park hours as well as Extra Magic Hours to be extended closer to the date, although this is subject to change. August is frequently when I visit Walt Disney World Resort and although sometimes the hours are slightly shorter than earlier in the summer, the crowds tend to thin out a bit and you get to accomplish more during the day. As I am actually visiting this upcoming August, I too keep looking up the hours and wonder when/if they will change as I expect Pandora- The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park to prolong the Theme Park Hours, but we have no way of knowing for sure. 

    Keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as well as the Walt Disney World Resort website will give us both more insight on upcoming hours. I hope you are enjoying planning your magical vacation, I know I am!
