hi, we are going to WDW this mid November 2011 and will be staying at the Wilderness Lodges, can you advice us which building or section of the resort would be close to the food court and the bus stop, since the resort is pretty large. thanks,

    Hi Anne,

Thanks for your question!  I absolutely adore questions about Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  It is my favorite resort on the entire planet and I'll be happy to share with you whatever it is you would like to know.

First of all, you should know that there is no traditional "food court" at the Lodge.  Disney's deluxe resorts have a wide range of dining options, from quick service to signature dining so you will not find food courts at places like Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  They do, however, have one of my favorite quick service restaurants on Disney property, Roaring Fork.  This restaurant has amazing salads, baked goods, and breakfasts.  They just started serving Mickey waffles here for breakfast this past spring and I can't wait to sample the Bananas Foster waffles on my next trip.  If you like s'mores, definitely make a point to try their s'mores-flavored cupcakes.  I think you're really going to like the food here.

If you want a room that is relatively close to both Roaring Fork and the resort bus stop, I suggest you request a room near the lobby.  Rooms off of the lobby are just a few footsteps from both Roaring Fork and the bus stop.  (As you face the Lodge, the bus stop at this resort is just to the right of the main lobby).

Let me know if there's anything else I can answer for you about Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  I'd love to help you plan the best Disney vacation ever.

    Best wishes,
    Jill
