    We will be in WDW mid May 2012 & have have a few reservatiolns lined up. I have made our ressies for 6 people, but there is a chance that my parents might not always go to dinner with us. Will we be charged a fee if only 4 show for dinner instead of

    Hi Patricia!

    Whether you will be charged or not really depends on which restaurant you are visiting.  Some restaurants and special dining events, such as the Fantasmic Dining Package in Disney's Hollywood Studios, do charge a free for last minute "no shows".

    Most of the restaurants that charge a fee are the more popular Character Dining Experiences and Disney Signature Restaurants.  You would have been asked for a credit card number when when you made the reservation and the exact cancellation policy would have been explained (either over the phone or online). 

    If you are not sure which restaurant might charge a fee if 2 guests do not show up, write back with the restaurants you have a reservation for!  I would be happy to look up the cancellation policy for a particular restaurant or Dining Experience for you!
