we are going to WDW in mid February and staying at Saratoga Springs. Will i need a car to get around the resort and to and from the parks. I have heard the buses to the parks take forever from here?

Hello Katie and thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with such a great question about your February 2019 plans to visit Walt Disney World Resort.
You are sure to love the elegance of Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa! And I know this because my own family and I just enjoyed a wonderful stay there this past Fall and our over all experience of staying at Saratoga Springs without our own car was a certainly a positive one.
I'm more than happy to share that we found the complimentary Disney Resort & Theme Park Transportation service to be super efficient and had little or minimal wait time when catching the buses or water taxis across to the nearby Disney Springs - although at peak times as you can imagine the buses were sometimes full to capacity.
As an alternative to Car Rentals you may wish to consider the Minnie Van Service as an additional means of transportation to anywhere on Disney property; Minnie Vans can be easily ordered and paid for by downloading and using the Lyft app via most any smartphone.
    Have a great Disney day.
