Hi, Gabriela!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Thank you for stopping by to bring us your question. It’s our pleasure to assist you as you plan the most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
Gabriela, crowd prediction is a tricky thing to figure out. There are so many variables that can affect crowds like time of the year, holidays, special events, etc… That being said, there do seem to be some trends that can be followed to have an idea what to expect during your visit. I’ve found some third-party crowd calendars helpful in choosing which park to visit when. My personal favorite is the one Undercover Tourist offers.
I’ve visited Magic Kingdom on days where special ticketed events are taking place later and the attendance prior to the party felt about average to me. The important thing to remember is that if you are not planning on attending the event, it will cut your day at the park a tad short. So, be sure to plan something else for that evening like maybe a visit to
Disney Springs for some shopping and dining fun or, if you have added
park hopper to your tickets, you could simply plan on heading to a different park to finish out your magical day!
I hope this information was helpful. If you need any additional planning tips or advice, be sure to stop by. We hope to see you again real soon!
