Where in WDW can you meet Moana?

    Hi Mallory,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Moana is one of my favorite Disney characters – I admire her determination and bravery, and also her empathy.

I’m glad your wayfinding skills have brought you to us, because there is one place at Walt Disney World where Guests can currently meet Moana: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. On party nights, Moana can be found in Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room. Because she is so often out voyaging, she is quite popular to meet, so if you’ll be attending to the party, I advise planning for at least a 30 minute wait, though these times can vary depending on the night you attend. Meeting popular characters during parade times or the fireworks is a good strategy, but one I never use, because I love parades and fireworks too much to miss those – and both are absolutely wonderful at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party!

Moana is not meeting Guests outside of the party at this time, but I encourage you to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for updates, not only on Moana’s plans, but all the great treats and experiences you’ll find in the parks and resorts during your upcoming visit. I see you are only a few sleeps away from your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth, and I can tell you: the holiday magic is all around in the parks and resorts, so get ready to have all the festive fun!

Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
    Robyn
