We are going to WDW May 4th and are staying at AOA for the 1 st time in a Little Mermaid area which seems very far from the main Hub. We are an active family and have enjoyed the convenience of the preferred room at Pop Century. Any suggestions?

Hi Dickie! Welcome back to the Walt Disney World Resort.

I’m so excited to read that you are staying at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort for your upcoming visit. This resort is my family’s favorite! My kids are huge fans of the Disney•Pixar movies featured at this resort. And with the larger-than-life characters throughout the resort, they couldn’t get enough. Our best photos from our visits when we stayed there where the ones we took at the resort hotel. It really is a sight!

Dickie, because this hotel is so fun and colorful, I promise you, the few minute walk from the Little Mermaid rooms to the main building doesn’t feel very long at all! If you are driving your own vehicle, you can park closer to the Little Mermaid buildings. But either way, I think you’ll find once you are there that it’s not a bad walk.

During your stay, be sure to take in all the special details. Disney’s imagineers didn’t miss a detail at this resort. And when you try out the Big Blue Pool, be sure to listen to the magic “under the sea”. There’s pixie dust to be found in every corner at Disney’s Art of Animation.

I hope you have an unforgettable time during your visit. For any additional planning questions, please don’t hesitate to stop by and see us again.

    See ya real soon!
