We will be at WDW May 17-23. We have not been able to make dining reservations at the times we would like at some restaurants and not at all at others. Are there often cancellations? Should we just keep trying back?

Hi Kathy!

We often take last minute trips to Walt Disney World since we live so close. I have had great luck with getting last minute reservations, especially in the week prior to arriving. The key is persistence and a little luck. If you really have your heart set on a particular restaurant, try every day, multiple times a day. I have the dining website bookmarked on my phone and on my desktop, so all I have to do is pull it right up and search. Since there is a one day cancellation policy, you might be able to snag a decent time the day before your desired meal.
