    Hi moms, will be at WDW in May. Want to know is there alot going on at my time of travel, and will it be more crowded than normal if you can say. Is it a good time to travel to WDW for the crowds that is. Any time is a good time for WDW. Thanks

    Vanessa you are correct, anytime is a good time to visit Walt Disney World!

    May crowd levels are quite reasonable. Most families wait until summer vacation to visit so you will beat the majority of travelers who arrive during the peak season. The weather is not quite as hot in May as in the summer too.

    Star Wars Weekends are held the last two weekends of May in Disney's Hollywood Studios. If you are a fan of the saga check out the fun. Not that into fantasy space travel? Then skip this park on May 18-20 and 25-27 to avoid all the jedis and stormtroopers.

    The Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival takes place through May 20. The crowds tend to swell some during weekends for this event when HGTV Designer Presentations are held. During May weekends you can see Antonio Ballatore, Carter Oosterhouse, or Genevieve Gorder. Flower Power Concerts are also available for your entertainment during the weekends. The special displays and breathtaking landscaping can be seen seven days a week so if your main interest in Epcot is to fly on Soarin' and stroll the World Showcase visit during the week.
