Hello, Rebecca,
How exciting to be planning a Walt Disney World trip! Even with all of the trips my family has taken, I still find myself filled with all sorts of excitement, but still a bit overwhelmed when I begin planning our trips. To help, I turn to the touring plans that are available through www.touringplans.com. There is a small fee for this service, but one that I find incredibly helpful to sort-out the must-sees attractions for different groups (parents with small children, adults, mixed generations, etc) and the best order to visit the attractions to make the best of your time and reduce wait times. I'm hopeful that this website would be one that you would find equally helpful.
Once I start to map out our touring plans, I match them up the
Park Hours making decisions on what days we'll be at certain parks, what day is our Downtown Disney day, what day will we stay at the parks late, etc. Then, I start looking at
Disney Dining so that I can get advanced dining reservations made since some restaurants are popular and book up quickly. In fact by the looks of your travel dates, you can begin making your reservations now.
I also regularly visit the
Disney Parks Blog to keep on current on Disney news as well as the blog at website I mentioned above, www.disneyfoodblog.com, and www.allearsnet.com and would encourage you to do the same.
I hope this help you to begin your planning. Please let us know if we can help again.
Wishing you a pixie-dusted trip!
