We will be going to WDW in May. we would like to go the Epcot during the evening hours to see the fireworks at the end of the day. We are thinking of eating at Boardwalk and going over to Epcot from there. Is there a fee for parking at boardwalk?

No, there is no fee for parking at the boardwalk if you are visiting one of the restaurants.   When you enter the boardwalk, you can let the guard know your intentions.   They may ask for some sort of ID, then direct to you the self-parking area.   From there, its a short walk to the Boardwalk and a number of fine restaurants.   To travel to EPCOT you can either take the boat or simply walk (its not far).
