Hi there, I am going to WDW in May 2012 for the first time and cant wait, we are taking our toddler who will be 21 months - I read on Animal Kingdowm something about Video Activators - please can you tell me what this is ? Thanks!

    Hi Frankie!

A big congrats to you on your first trip! Magical moments await you and family when you get there, so be sure to have the camera ready! :-)

Video Activators are also known as Video Captioning devices, which are assisted listening devices for guests with hearing disabilities. They can only be "activated" remotely, hence the name. These are available for rent at each of the parks, with video captioning requiring a $100 deposit, and single button activators for a $25 deposit (both deposits are refundable upon returning the devices).

    Have a good one!
