we will be at WDW may 5-10. day 1 willl be MK, with reservantions at CP for dinner at 7:40. with wishes starting @ 10. if i walk out of the doors of CP will we have a good view of wishes. good enough to see tinker fly? or should we skip it this night. TY!

    Hi Nicole,

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. According to the Magic Kingdom calendar for May 5th, Wishes nighttime spectacular is expected to begin at 10:00 p.m. Be sure to review the calendar as your vacation approaches as shows and times are always subject to change.

Your timing should be just fine, as Character Dining generally takes 1.5 hours. To obtain a prime viewing area of Tinker Bell's Flight (weather permitting) and the spectacular fireworks display, I'd consider moving further towards Casey's Corner on Main Street U.S.A. whereas you're almost front and center to Cinderella Castle. It may be quite crowded but for good reason ...it's the best seat in the house!

Keep a watchful eye on a top window of the castle at the beginning of Wishes and have your camera ready!

Wishing you a MAGICAL vacation, Nicole!
