We are going to WDW in March for the1st time just a week.I have an 8 year old boy and don't want to spend all week at the parks. Can you please tell me the must to see and do. We don't plan on going to the water parks and we are staying offsite. thanks

    Hi Amanda!

Most 8 year old boys would love most, if not all, of the attractions at Walt Disney World.  That said, I would list the following as "must do's" for an 8 year old:

Magic Kingdom:  Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan's Flight, Mickey's PhilharMagic, and Monster's Inc Laugh Floor.

Epcot:  Soarin', Test Track, The Seas with Nemo and Friends, Spaceship Earth, and Maelstrom.

Disney's Hollywood Studios:  Toy Story Mania and Star Tours.  Some 8 year old boys would also enjoy Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and Rock 'n Roller Coaster Staring Aerosmith; however, some would be terrified by those attractions.

Disney's Animal Kingdom:  Kilimanjaro Safaris, Finding Nemo - The Musical, Festival of the Lion King, Kali River Rapids, and Dinosaur

    Have a magical vacation!
