We will be at WDW March 20-28 and have reservations at the Art of Animation. Is it usually warm enough to swim in the pools at the end of March?

Hey Tracy- Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love visiting Walt Disney World Resort in March. With the flowers blooming, good weather and the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival in full swing, it really is a magical time.

At Disney’s Art of Animation Resort your family can live in the world of Simba, Lightning McQueen, Ariel and Nemo. This is the newest value resort and we loved it. All the pools were fantastic and The Big Blue Pool is enormous, fun and adorned with a splash pad for the kids. My sons spent all day at the pool including a splash pad battle. We were in a Lion King Suite where everyone had a bed and a comfortable place to sit and eat. The kitchenette is perfect.

I would not worry about cold weather in March. We were at Disney's Pop Century Resort in February and Disney's Contemporary Resort in March and enjoyed the pools for an entire day. Walt Disney World Resort hotel pools are heated to around 82 degrees year round, perfect for a splashtastic time.

Disney Dad Tip: From the beginning of March to the end of May, the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival blooms with spectacular flower gardens for Guest. At no additional cost, experience dazzling Disney character topiaries, see beautiful butterflies flutter by in a Butterfly House, listen to outdoor concerts and dine on delicious seasonal dishes. Your Epcot adventure dollars go much farther attending this wonderful festival.

Tracy, enjoy making many Magical Memories!
