Going to WDW in March with grown kids and little grand children for my Birthday.Ive reserved great experiences for everyone but my grown 30 yr old daughter. I need an awesome experience to reserve for my amazing daughter mother of my 2 grandchildren!

    Hi Cindy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Birthday celebrations at the Walt Disney World Resort are AMAZING!

Since you know your daughter best, I will suggest a few options and trust you to decide which one would spread the most pixie dust! We love celebrating my husband's birthday with dinner at California Grill atop Disney's Contemporary Resort during the Happily Ever After Fireworks show. I always make our reservation for a time that is 30-40 minutes prior to the show. Then, we arrive at least 15 minutes prior to our reservation to check-in, I let the cast members know we are celebrating a birthday, and I request a window table. Although window tables are not guaranteed, cast members have made every effort to accommodate our requests in the past. The views from the restaurant are spectacular and I love the ambiance.

When my girls were younger, I also appreciated quiet time, especially if it did not involve packing snacks and reminded me that I was an adult. Consider Afternoon Tea at Garden View Tea Room at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Now that my girls are older, we enjoy the tea experience together. It is incredibly relaxing. If your daughter has a spirited side and might enjoy a little fun without the little ones, try STK Orlando at Disney Springs. My husband and I love the nighttime energy there.

There are, of course, a host of other experiences included in the Enchanting Extras Collection. My family appreciates the Nature Experiences. Dine with an Animal Specialist, Up Close with Rhinos, and Caring for Giants have all been delightful and fit within our budget. If your daughter simply needs some rest and relaxation, try booking a spa package. I also suggest that you consider creating some magic with Disney Floral & Gifts. In the past, I have ordered princess balloons for our girls and had them delivered to Cinderella's Royal Table. Their expressions were absolutely priceless when they saw those balloons.

Cindy, last, but certainly not least, when our girls were little, I would have paid good money just to sleep late one day or enjoy a cup of coffee totally on my own - just a small reminder that great experiences need not break the bank. If you can take the little ones out one morning, that might be just perfect!

    Magic and Memories,
