Hello Shantel, welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel!
Sounds like a very exciting vacation.
Walt Disney World restaurants offer a wide selection of culinary experiences that can add lots of magic on any vacation.
Starting with character dining, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and The Crystal Palace are my top suggestion for any group or family.
There are some really good counter service restaurants like Be Our Guests (for lunch), Boardwalk Bakery and Flame Tree Barbecue (awesome outdoor seating area). At Epcot there is an endless selection of counter service restaurants with excellent meals and snacks to try as you walk around the world.
Table service restaurants like Mama Melrose´s Ristorante Italiano, Tony´s Town Square Restaurant and Portobello Country Italian Trattoria feature great food and setting. I guess it is a coincidence these are all Italian restaurants.
If budget allows, I highly recommend experiencing Signature restaurants like California Grill, Artist Point, Jiko-The Coking Place and Yachtsman Steakhouse. All four offer a unique and tasty dining experience, in an elegant and calm environment.
Try making the most of early and late park hours, when crowd levels are usually the lowest of the day/night.
Walt Disney World is a great place to walk and relax with all the sights, sounds and attractions.
Thank you for visiting and letting us help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
Hope to hear again from you.
Miguel
