I will be going to WDW in March 2015 & doing a split stay, 7 nights at BWV & then 3 nights at VGF. I am not sure how to handle park tickets & the new Magic Bands? Do I buy a 10 day park hopper & if so how does it link to both reservations

    Hi Jennifer,

Thanks so much for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  Your trip sounds marvelous! Your stay will allow you to experience the hustle and bustle of Disney's BoardWalk at Disney's BoardWalk Villas and then the magic of being so close to Magic Kingdom Park at The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!

Yes, if you want 10 days of Disney theme park admission with the ability to go from park to park on any given day, your best deal is probably to buy the 10-day ticket with the park hopper option.  Once you have these tickets, link them in My Disney Experience.  Also be sure that your resort reservations are loaded into your My Disney Experience account.  My Disney Experience should give you the option to get two MagicBands - one for each of your reservations.  I checked with a cast member at Disney Vacation Club Member Services, who told me that you could decide if you want to get one or two MagicBands, since you should be offered one for each reservation.  Your theme park tickets should be able to be linked to one or both MagicBands.  I have to tell you, I get a new MagicBand each time I have a new reservation and the opportunity to do so.  I am trying to collect all the colors!

If you have further questions about this issue or run into problems while you are linking your theme park tickets and ordering your MagicBands, if you are a Disney Vacation Club member, I suggest that you call Disney Vacation Club Member Services at 1-800-800-9800.  There is a menu selection for help with MyMagic+.  If you are not a Disney Vacation Club member, you can call 407-939-7849 for help.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Jennifer.  Have a great time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
