I’m excited to hear you’ll be visiting the Disneyland Resort next year! I think you’re going to fall in love with the magic, wonder and history of Walt Disney’s original theme park here on the West Coast.
I usually call Disney Vacation Club Member Services in advance to request a Villa with a theme park view on a higher floor so we can enjoy the spectacular view of Disney California Adventure Park. You may also be able to catch a glimpse of World of Color from your balcony in the evenings. View requests can’t be guaranteed, but it doesn’t hurt to ask!
My favorite table-service dining location for celebrating special occasions is Blue Bayou at Disneyland Park. It's located right inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, so you can request a table near the water and wave to Guests floating by in boats headed to the pirate-filled waters! Don’t forget to mention you’re celebrating when making reservations because you may get sprinkled with a little extra pixie dust.
If you decide to schedule an adults-only meal to celebrate your anniversary while your kids have a fun night at Pinocchio's Workshop, Carthay Circle Restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park would be a great choice. This elegant restaurant is located on the second floor of Disney’s reproduction of the Carthay Circle Theatre, which played an important role in the life of Walt Disney. You may also want purchase a World of Color dining package, which includes tickets to premier reserved viewing locations for the one-of-a-kind water show.
