We will be at WDW in less than a week. It was just suggested to me to get ID tags/bracelets/shoe tags for my children in case of separation. It is too late to order these online to get them before we leave. Does WDW sell any kind of child ID? If so where?

    Hi Brook,

You can check various retailers online for those child ID tags and have them sent to you via Fed Ex. There's no guarantee they would get to you in time though. Do you have a boutique in town that sells unique items like this?

While Disney doesn't sell ID tags, I do want to assure you that they have an incredible system in place for lost children. What I have done on every Disney vacation with my children is immediately upon arrival I take them to a Cast Member and I show them what the name tags look like. Then I explain that if they are ever separated from me, to find the nearest person wearing a tag like that and tell them they can't find Mommy. In the event that this occurs, you should immediately locate the closest Cast Member as well and they will activate their system to help find your child. My son lost us temporarily in a torrential downpour in the Animal Kingdom 4 years ago. He followed the wrong Granny off the ride. Within minutes we were reunited.

Another tip I have for you is to snap a quick photo of your children each morning on your cell phone as you enter the park. That way, if the unlikely occurs, you can remember what they were wearing. It's hard to think in the midst of temporary panic.

Hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation with your family,
