We are going to WDW in late Sept. and wondering if it will be Halloween ready by then? Are there any kid friendly Halloween shows or attractions to see?

    Hi Beth,

You will love going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party which is at the Magic Kingdom starting September 11 to November 2nd, 2012.  The entire special event is kid friendly so there are no worries for kids of any ages who are attending.  There is Trick-or-Treating at various stations throughout the theme parks.  "Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade" begins with the Headless Horseman riding through the Magic Kingdom and is just amazing!  Happy HalloWishes, the fireworks show is just spectacular and not to be missed as well.  There are two Halloween Dance Parties:  one in Tomorrowland with Stitch, Pluto, Goofy, and Chip 'n Dale, and one in Liberty Square with Woody, Jessie, and Bullseye.  There is a Disney Villains Mix & Mingle show on the stage located at Cinderella's Castle.  Many of the characters are dressed in costume as well and there are Character Meet and Greets throughout the park usually until around 11:30 pm,  Most of the attractions are open all evening.  Be sure to pick up a special Times Guide and Map when you enter.  I know you will just love going to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, Beth!
