We are going to WDW in late Sept. with 2 boys, 7 and 10, want to stay at a moderate hotel, either Coronado or PO. Does the convention center at Coronado cause crowding? Of the 2 PO, I like RS, but I see better reviews for FQ. Do you have suggestions?

Hi Dawn! Coronado Springs resort is considered a convention resort but I don't feel that this causes it to be over crowded. In fact sometimes it helps thin the crowds out at the pools and recreation sites. While guests are busy in their meetings and convention planned dinners the common areas are thinned out. I don't see this as a detriment at all.

Port Orleans is still my favorite moderate resort because I love the atmosphere and the proximity to Downtown Disney. We love Riverside but many guests like the French Quarter because it is a smaller section. I personally don't think you can go wrong with either and wouldn't worry about getting a reservation for whatever is available.
