DH and I are going to WDW in late Sept for our anniv. I would like to know what mod resort would be romantic to stay at (POR/CB)? I've heard POR may not include free dining plan. Y is the Coronado resort saying it has no availability at this time?

Hi Stephen! I want to wish you an early congratulations on your upcoming anniversary. Walt Disney World is a fantastic place to celebrate all special dates.

When looking for a romantic moderate resort I tend to look at Port Orleans French Quarter first. This is the smaller section of Port Orleans and it does hold the magic of the New Orleans French Quarter. It has wonderful amenities that include horse drawn carriage rides, boat to Disney Springs, and relaxing pools. It is hard to know which resorts will be included in Free Dining plans for the future. Many times if you do the math the Free Dining is not always beneficial to the type of vacation you will want to experience so perhaps that will ultimately not make a difference.

The Coronado Springs Resort is a convention resort with large convention facilities. If this resort is full at the time you were hoping to get a reservation then perhaps it is because they have a large convention in house during that time. Large groups will often hold a certain amount of rooms until the time gets closer so if this is a resort you were hoping to get you can always keep checking for availability. In the meantime I would definitely get a reservation somewhere else so you won't be without a room.
