while we are at wdw in late Nov. my wife and I would like to go dancing. Ballroom style or country I have not found anywhere now that pleasure Island is not there.

    Hi Larry,

The only place I can think of where guests actually go to dance is Atlantic Dance Hall on the Boardwalk, but that's a nightclub atmosphere. They don't have ballroom or country western dancing. There is live music at the Grand Floridian in the evenings. Generally a pianist plays in the lobby, and there is often a "band" of musicians playing music in the balcony overlooking the lobby. I have seen couples dance there at times, nothing formal though.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
