    We will be at WDW in late August. What would be the best way to get from Disney Springs to Fort Wilderness for Mickey's Backyard BBQ?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Susan!

    Let me help with my suggestion for travel to The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground from Disney Springs.  Head towards the Disney's Springs Bus Station at The Landing.  Hop aboard a bus heading to Disney's Wilderness Lodge.  Once there,  you can either catch another bus (or boat!) to Fort Wilderness.  There's also a nice walking trail (less than a mile) to Mickey's backyard BBQ from the Wilderness Lodge.  When using Disney transportation, be sure to allow at least an hour and a half for travel.  If you prefer to arrive in speed and in style, check out the new Minnie Van Service.  Have a hootin' tootin' time at Mickey's Backyard BBQ!
