    We are going to WDW 11/10-11/14/10 I know the parks are decorated,but are the hotels decorated yet? Also, will the Grand Floridian have it's gingerbread house ready? We are bringing first time guests with us and would love to show them the hotels.

    Hi Andrea! Generally the resorts will follow the parks when it comes to decorating for the Christmas holiday.  The information we have been given concerning the Grand Floridian gingerbread house is that it will be installed sometime between November 8-10 and will open for business on November 15.  This unfortunately will be a day too late for you but these dates can change so keep your fingers crossed and it might open early.  None the less you should be able to see this fabulous house in the making which might be quite an experience in itself!

    The Boardwalk decoration is due to be installed November 22 and the Contemporary is set for November 20. The Yacht and Beach resort decorations are scheduled for November 18.  Again things can change so be sure to have your resort concierge check on any updates for the timing of the decorations once you arrive!
