    We will be @ WDW 8-25 to 30th. I know the new Star wars section is opening, MY grandson-14 loves SW. I told him we may have to avoid that attraction until next trip. Thoughts? Stay clear or attempt to go? Rule of thumb-I wait until the following year.

    Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation with your grandson!

    This is a great question! Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios is scheduled to open August 29, 2019, which makes it a land you have to see in person. Personally, I would attempt to go, but perhaps not expect to experience the Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, because I assume the lines may be longer than normal. Having said that, going in and exploring what it has to offer will prepare you for your next vacation when you plan to experience it all first hand. I hope this helps.
