We are going to WDW in June, planning to eat @ Donald's breakfast @ AK. We were planning as early in the day as possible to make our reservation,Where is it located?& Who usually is there?& Are there any "shows" @ AK?

    Laura:

I literally just got back to our RV here at Fort Wilderness from Animal Kingdom, and got out my Time Guide from today to help!

Tusker House Restaurant hosts Donald's Safari Breakfast.  The first seating today was 8:00 a.m.  However, keep in mind that in the summer, some restaurants open early.  When you call Disney Dining (407-939-3463), they can let you know what the earliest seating is.  The restaurant's located in "Africa" on your way to the Kilamanjaro Safari. Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey host the breakfast buffet and show up dressed in their safari best!

As for other "shows" at Animal Kingdom, the underappreciated Flights of Wonder scores tops in my book for its interactive bird show.  Nemo The Musical makes you think you were on Broadway!  It's a must-see in my book for its spectacular puppetry arts and musical talent--get in line at least 40 minutes early so you can get a decent seat.  Festival of the Lion King's acrobatics and circus-like performance captivates. This park's shows are without a doubt the best of any park.  Plan your day around them.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
