    We are going to WDW this June and will be wearing shorts and T-shirts - should my family bring light jackets to the parks in case? I heard that the air conditioning in some of the restaurants can make it kind of cold. Thank you!

    Hi there Sherry,

    I am a cold-natured person, so I always pack a light jacket, no matter the time of year.  You have definitely heard correctly:  The air conditioning inside certain attractions and restaurants can be on the chilly side and at night, during the fireworks, it's nice to have an extra layer just in case.  Don't forget, Florida is also known for spur of the moment rain showers which can appear out of nowhere, so perhaps a lightweight water resistant shell will be your best bet. This jacket can also serve as your seat cover on water attractions and you'll be SO glad you have it when the time comes! It's always better to be safe than sorry!

    My husband always carries a small backpack in the parks and we always bring along lightweight, anorak type jackets that virtually roll right into a ball.  There are also lockers available in each park.
