We are going to WDW in June, staying at the Animal Kingdom and we have a 2 yr old. I keep worrying about shuttle bus hassles . If you had a choice, would you spend the extra $300 and stay in a resort that had the monorail so traveling would be made easier?

Hi Bea - I've stayed at the Animal Kingdom Lodge with a one year old and a three year old and didn't really find many shuttle bus hassles.  It's my family's favorite resort, because of the amazing atmosphere and the proximity of the animals.  If your little one is an animal lover, then you should definitely consider keeping the reservation.

However, the monorail resorts are fabulous, and in my opinion are worth the extra money, if you can afford it.  It's a tough decision, definitely!  To decide, think about whether you prefer convenience or the animals. Either way, I'm sure you will have a wonderful vacation!
