Hi. We are going to WDW in June and our magic bands are to be mailed to my home. Can the bands be taken through airline security easily without affecting the bands? Thank you, Loni Ketterman

    Hi Lai Loni!

The day our MagicBands arrive on our doorstep, my kids rush to tear open the box and immediately put them on. It's a struggle sometimes to make sure they stay in the box and no one loses them before our magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort even starts.

Then, on the morning of our adventure, I let them put them on as we load our suitcases into the car and head to the airport. Our MagicBands have ridden in our bags and been worn through security and always worked perfectly once we arrive to the Most Magical Place on Earth. I swear they must carry a bit of Disney pixie dust in them as once we were even chosen to head through a shorter security line so "we could get to Mickey sooner!"

Mom Tip: Regardless of how they travel with you, make sure your MagicBands are ready to go once you arrive at Disney's Magical Express.

Have a wonderful vacation, Lai Loni, and please come see us again if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.

    Magical Wishes,
