    We are going to be in WDW in June, I am looking for something special for my 14 year old daughter. The backstage tour, says you have to be 16 for the one we wanted.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! One of my absolute favorite tours is Wild Africa Trek in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. My family had the opportunity to experience the Trek during our last visit and all of us, including my teens, loved it!

    Wild Africa Trek is a one of a kind (separately priced) Tour that allows you to get an up-close view of some of the animals on the savanna. Your family will cross over a rope bridge and get to dangle over hippos and crocodiles while safely secured to a harness. You'll also get to snack on African inspired cuisine while overlooking the gorgeous savanna. The view of the animals roaming the savanna is simply breathtaking! The Wild Africa Trek Tour Guides will take photos and capture your memories during the Trek and at the end of the Tour you will receive a photo code that you can use to access and download photos taken during the experience. All photos are included in the price of the Trek. Reservations can be made 180 days in advance of your Resort stay by calling (407) 939-8687. 

    Although it's not a Tour, I also recommend Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise.The Cruise takes place aboard the iconic General Joe Potter ferryboat. You'll enjoy a voyage full of delicious desserts, specialty beverages,(with and without alcohol) and a gorgeous view of the Wishes nighttime spectacular. Advanced Reservations are required and highly recommended and can be made by calling (407) 939-3463. Admission is $99 for adults and $69 for children ages 3 to 9 years old. (tax and gratuity are included) The price includes a Souvenir Palette Plate & Glow Glass.
