Hi! We will be at WDW from June 28 - July 2, 2015 and are staying at The Art of Animation resort. Is information available concerning Extra Magic Hours during our stay? Is there a calendar we can refer to that includes that information? Thanks

Hi, Julia! There is a convenient calender online that displays Walt Disney Resort Park Hours that includes Extra Magic Hours. Simply navigate to the top of the page and enter in your desired days. The Extra Magic Hours is just one of many wonderful benefits Guests receive when staying at a Walt Disney Resort hotel.

It looks like on your first day, there are Extra Magic Hours in the morning at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. This is fantastic! I would get to the park just before opening, and head straight to Kilimanjaro Safaris once the park opens. There will be a minimal wait that early in the day, and the animals are the most active in the morning. As the day warms up, the animals tend to seek shade and take a nice nap.

If you have any other questions Julia, please come back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are here to help!  Wishing you and your family a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Rachel, Wisconsin

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
