I am going to WDW in June. In Jan 2015, I was diagnosed with a rare nervous system disorder that effects my hands and arms! I am in the process of working to get into remission and I want to celebrate at WDW. How could I do that?

    Hi Jessica!

I'm so sorry to hear of your diagnosis. And I have to say that I absolutely love your positivity and wonderful outlook on planning your remission celebration trip! Walt Disney World is such a magical place that brings inspiration, hope and healing to many.

In planning a celebratory trip, I definitely suggest planning a wonderful meal at one of Disney's finest restaurants. California Grill is one of my favorite Walt Disney World restaurants because if you book an Advanced Dining Reservation near the time Wishes is being shown, you can watch it from above on their balcony. You can actually see Tinkerbell flying down from Cinderella Castle from above. You can book your ADR 180 days in advance by calling 407-WDW-DINE or visiting the Walt Disney World website. Let them know that you are celebrating during this trip on your reservation.

You can also contact Disney Floral and Gifts ahead of time to deliver a special package to your room.

For a great celebration, do something special, like a Ferrytale Wishes: A Fireworks Dessert Cruise. You can enjoy special desserts and a viewing of Wishes from a boat on Seven Seas Lagoon. It's held on select nights and you can call 407-939-3463 to book.

I would also book a massage at Senses and spend a day in their luxurious spa.

I am thinking of you and sending you positive thoughts for healing.
