We are going to WDW in June 22, 2009 and our group consist of four adults and two kids (5,9). I was wondering what the weather would be like. Should I pack rain ponchos? Thanks Fatimah

Hi, Fatimah!   Mid-June gets quite toasty!   Expect high 80's - low 90's daily.   Along with the high temperatures and high humidity comes afternoon rain showers!   A daily burst of rain is not uncommon, especially during the summer in Florida.

I would plan to pack rain ponchos in your bag.   I usually buy mine ahead of time at my local discount or dollar store.   They come in a small package so they are easy to carry around.    With luck, you will not need them, but if some rain pops up, you will be ready with your ponchos!   Enjoy your June vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
