we are going to wdw in June of 2013 for the first time. We have decided to stay at the polynesian. Our kids are 7,6,2. Which house would be best to stay in? We would like pool time in the middle of our day.

Great choice in resorts, Amy.  That is where my family will be staying during our next vacation.  As for which building would best suit your young family, I would recommend something close to the Great Ceremonial House for access to dining and the pool.  Rarotonga or Somoa would be great choices.  A room in either of these buildings would allow you to quickly pop over to the pool from your room for a midday break.  Just remember that while you are welcome to request a particular building, there is no guarantee that your request will be met, only that they will do their best to get you where you want to be.  Good luck!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
