Going to WDW Jun 7-13 with my 6 yr old. Is going to a waterpark worth it or if this is your one and only visit would you focus on Magic Kingdom and Epcot? There is so much to do I'm wondering if it's better to really enjoy 1 or 2 places or explore more?

    Hi Lori!

How exciting that you will be spending 7 days at Walt Disney World!  With that much time, I would recommend that you "spread it out" and explore as many of the Parks as you can, especially if it might be your one and only visit.

The Water Parks are GREAT!  Our favorite, with younger children, is Typhoon Lagoon.  A day at a Water Park is incredibly refreshing in the middle of a week full of busy Park visits!

For a 6 year old, I agree that Magic Kingdom is at the top of the list, and you will probably want to plan for 2 days there.  But, there is so much for them to enjoy at the other Parks, it would be a shame to leave them out.

Hollywood Studios has so many of their favorite characters and attractions, such as Toy Story Mania, Beauty & the Beast Live Onstage, Star Tours, The Muppets in 4D, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, Lights! Motors! Action! (with Lightning McQueen), and more!

The Animal Kingdom is so much fun to explore, with all of the amazing animals in their habitats, and exciting shows and attractions!

And of course, EPCOT, with its adventures in "faraway lands", and fun rides such as Soarin' & The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

So, have fun exploring!  You may not see everything within each Park, but with a little planning, you will have a GREAT & FUN overview of it all!
